The fast recovering housing market in the Dublin suburbs is encouraging ever more land owners to offload development sites.
This week Lisney is to test the strength of the market in an area close to Blanchardstown Town Centre and Ongar Village in Dublin 15 by offering for sale a well-located site extending to 1.62 hectares (4 acres).
Ross Shorten of Lisney is seeking €3.5 million for residentially zoned site which could be expected to accommodate between 60 and 70 homes, depending on the mixture of two, three and four-bedroom units.
The development plot is located immediately beside the Allendale Square apartments and close to the roundabout servicing the Clonsilla Road and the Ongar Distribution Road. The area is about 4km west of the M50 motorway.
