Chartered Land, one of Ireland's largest property and investment groups, yesterday announced the appointment of Andrew Gunne as its new chief executive.

He joins the company from Key Capital Real Estate where he was a co-founder and managing director. He previously worked with CB Richard Ellis in Ireland.

Chartered Land, best known for its ownership of the Dundrum Town Centre, has been working with Nama for the past four years on an agreed deleveraging plan with a number of significant asset sales to date in Dublin including the recent disposal of 2 Grand Canal Square to Irish Life for €120 million, and 32-35 South King Street and 1-8 Chatham Court to Key Capital for more than €30 million. It also sold its investment portfolio in the UK.
