Innovation Exchange expands with Drogheda partnership

Tech SMEs located at Mill Enterprise Hub and northeast region will be able to pitch to large companies looking to access innovation

The Innovation Exchange has announced a new partnership with the Mill Enterprise Hub in Drogheda, Co Louth as part of its ongoing expansion throughout the country.

The new partnership will allow tech SMEs located at the Mill Enterprise Hub and the northeast region to pitch to large companies looking to access innovation. It will join the growing network of regional hubs that have partnered with the Innovation Exchange, including the Ludgate Hub, the Galway Technology Centre and the RDI Hub.

“As we continue to provide our services to SMEs and corporations throughout Ireland, we are delighted to be working with the Mill Hub,” said Sinead O’Riordan, head of channel partnerships at the Innovation Exchange.

“Our primary objective is to highlight the incredible skills and abilities of the local businesses, while also assisting them in scaling their operations. We look forward to expanding our network, and leveraging The Mill’s resources and expertise as a means to support our members and drive their successes.”

The Innovation Exchange, which is a Skillnet Ireland initiative, connects large companies with digital transformation challenges and technology companies that can offer solutions. It was established in 2022 to help overcome barriers to innovation, facilitating work between companies and innovators.

The Innovation Exchange has a goal of signing up 1,000 companies by 2025, and has already reached the halfway point. It has also worked with Glanbia, Bord na Móna, Ryanair and ESB, with new members that include InterSport Elverys, Uisce Eireann, BWG Foods and Ireland West Airport.
