SHANE Horgan (calf) and Gordon D’Arcy (ankle) sat out the Ireland squad training session in Limerick yesterday but neither problem is deemed serious.

Donnacha O’Callaghan took part in light training following his knee injury while Stephen Ferris rested a bruised shin sustained against Bath last weekend.

The Ireland team for the opening game of the Six Nations against Italy at Croke Park tomorrow week will be announced on Tuesday.
