John Cullen both trains and rides Katnap who should prove hard to beat at Down Royal this afternoon.

The Grade One winning jockey trained his first winner in Ireland just a couple of weeks ago with the 33-1 shot Misty Lady but there will be no such fancy odds about Katnap in today's Beginners Chase.

The ex-French runner finished runner-up to the very decent Mount Colah at Thurles on his last start.

Of Enda Bolger’s last three runners, two have won and Drawn N Drank could continue the run in the opening handicap chase.

Quickasyoucan may surprise the 122-rated Leavethelighton for a local win in the maiden hurdle.
