While the weather might not have been anywhere near as severe in Ireland as it has been in England over the past week, it still managed to disrupt the travelling arrangements of the players in the Ireland squad for next Saturday's international against Japan at Lansdowne Road. Those hoping to fly from Cork on Sunday morning were told that there would be no flights and so had to go and while away a few hours on a train. As one player observed it probably saved on nervous energy given the prevailing conditions.
