Fun as Gaeilge: a new board game makes learning Irish easier

Imagine if learning Irish could be a game rather an ordeal

Imagine if learning Irish could be a game rather an ordeal.

This is the thinking behind Crannóg, a board game in which participants race each other across a lake to an island crannóg by throwing 12-sided dice with letters instead of numbers.

Players compete to make the largest word from the letters thrown. Spelling and vocabulary improve while you’re simply ag súgradh.
