Savills is quoting a rent of €325,000 for a large logistics facility in Swords Business Park which is available from the second quarter of this year.

The facility, occupied by Dixon Transport, comprises two detached industrial buildings of 1,668sq m (17,954sq ft) and 2,860sq m (30,785sq ft) plus an extensive yard on a large site of 7.11 acres. There are 110 car-parking spaces and extensive hard standing space for 65 trailers.

Dixons is moving to a purpose-built facility in Food Central in North Dublin due to a shortage of logistics space on the rental market. The Swords property is just off the old N1 about 3.5km north of Dublin Airport. There is easy access to Swords, the M1, the M50 and the Dublin Port Tunnel.

According to the agent, the property is suitable for a variety of uses including storage, logistics, transport/distribution, industrial or manufacturing, and is capable of subdivision.
