Seán O'Brien and Ian Madigan sat out Leinster training last night but both are expected to be fit to face Scarlets at the RDS on Saturday (2.40pm).

Leinster lost 22-20 to Glasgow Warriors in their opening fixture of the new Pro 12 campaign on Saturday, in what was a attritional encounter, but the prognosis looks positive for those involved.

Centre Noel Reid may not make the weekend's action but the ankle injury he suffered at Scotstoun Stadium is "not as bad as first feared" and a "further update will be provided" tomorrow.

Everyone else trained with the squad this week, including captain Jamie Heaslip and Devin Toner, and both are available for selection.
