Leinster have confirmed both Tadhg Furlong and James Lowe will miss this weekend's URC clash with Munster.

Furlong sustained an ankle injury in the first half of Saturday’s Champions Cup semi-final win over Toulouse while James Lowe injured his shin in the game’s last play. Leinster say both Irish internationals will be further assessed this week.

This weekend’s return to URC action sees Leinster host Munster at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 7.15pm – Live on TG4, Premier Sports and URC TV).

Furlong and Lowe likely would have been rested for Munster’s visit even if available, but the pressure is now on for them to prove their fitness ahead of the following Saturday's Champions Cup final against Ronan O’Gara’s La Rochelle.
