A man in his late teens has been arrested by gardaí and brought before the courts in connection with a burglary at Dublin City University (DCU) student union offices.
The man was arrested over a break-in at the offices in which a number of items, including a drone device worth some €1,500 were taken.
“A man in his late teens was arrested and brought to court” in connection with the incident on Monday September 25th, according to a Garda spokesman. Gardaí in Santry are investigating the incident.
The DJI Mavric 4 pro drone device was taken from the welfare and equality student union office’s office.
The president of the student union Niall Behan said security measures have been increased near the student union office space by the college following the incident. The student union officers had only recently moved into the offices, as the building was undergoing renovation work during the summer.
