The search has resumed off the coast of Co Clare for a man believed to have fallen into the sea.

The 19-year-old has been missing since Sunday night, when he was last seen at the rear of his seaside home near Quilty, Co Clare.

Volunteers from the Doolin and Kilkee units of the Coast Guard resumed searches on Wednesday morning at 7.30am.

They were joined by divers from the Naval Service at 9.30am and by the Shannon-based helicopter Rescue 115 at 10am.
