Orvieto is the best-known wine of the Umbria region of central Italy. At one stage most of the wine produced here was semi-sweet and was very popular in Italy. Today the vast majority of wines are dry, including the one featured below.
Chianti is one of the most famous wine names of Italy. In general, the best wines come from the Classico subregion. The main grape here is Sangiovese.

Ser Tosco Chianti Classico Riserva 2020
Rounded with subtle plum fruits, tobacco and an earthiness. The classic accompaniment would be steak, but I would probably go for chicken or pork, or some firm cheeses; 13.5% abv, €10.99.
