Today is the last chance to catch Grindr/A Love Story, and if you haven't encountered McKenna before, it's worth checking out this exciting new talent. But if you're expecting more than the odd flash of the brilliant spoken-word performance McKenna first brought to our attention at Come Rhyme With Me, you may be disappointed.

Described as a show “about the internet, sex, and frantically trying to connect”, it has moments of honesty, insight and humour. But it fails, like its protagonist, to forge a meaningful connection, and only rarely lurches into the intense prose at which McKenna excels.

Like a 140-character tweet, a little more structure and a lot more editing and this show could pack a real punch.
