A man in his 20s has died following a single-vehicle crash in Ballinskelligs, Co Kerry, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The man was the driver of a van which crashed at Kilurly, Ballinskelligs, at approximately 2am. He was seriously injured and brought to University Hospital Kerry, but died later.
Two other people were in the van at the time and were assessed at the scene but did not require hospital treatment, gardaí said.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses and any drivers with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Killarney Garda station on 064 6671160, the Garda Confidential Line (1800 666 111) or any Garda station.

The man’s death coincided with World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
A second man died over the weekend following a crash near Tullamore, Co Offaly, on Thursday morning.
The single-vehicle crash happened on the L2007 Rahan Road at Ballykeenaghan at about 9am. The driver of the car, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore on Saturday night.
Gardaí appealed to anyone who witnessed the crash and those with dashcam footage in the area between 8.15am and 9.15am to contact Tullamore Garda station on 057 932 7600, the Garda Confidential Line or any Garda station.
A man in his 20s killed in a two-car collision in Co Cork on Friday has been named locally as Brandon O’Connell Walsh from Dromagh, Co Cork. The crash happened on a secondary road between Cecilstown and Ballyclough, approximately 11km northwest of Mallow at about 5.15pm. The driver of the second car was critically injured and remains in hospital.
Meanwhile, a woman in her 70s was seriously injured after she was struck by a vehicle in the village of Bruckless, Co Donegal, on Saturday. The woman had been been walking at approximately 6.20pm on the N56 road through the village.
