A man has been charged in connection with an alleged armed robbery from a shop in Blackrock, south Dublin.
On Monday, gardaí responded to reports of a man armed with a knife threatening staff at a shop before taking a sum of cash. No one was injured during the incident.
Gardaí searched the surrounding area near the shop and a suspect aged in his 50s, was arrested and taken to Blackrock Garda station for questioning.
A sum of cash was also recovered, the spokesman said.
