Ryanair plans to create 200 new engineering jobs across Europe as it prepares to take delivery of 50 new aircraft over the next 12 months.
In a statement on Monday, the budget carrier said it hopes to fill a range of roles including technical services engineers, simulator engineers, fleet planners and junior aircraft engineers.
The new recruits will be hired across a range of locations to work with Ryanair's third party service providers, as well as Ryanair itself in the case of employees hired in the UK and Ireland.
"As our aircraft numbers grow from 430 to 585 in the next 7 years, Ryanair will hire over 200 new new engineers," chief people officer Eddie Wilson said.
"2017 has been our busiest recruitment year to date, and we are continuing to invest heavily in talent for the future, as we take delivery of our new Boeing aircraft," he added.
The airline will hold an engineering open day on November 23rd in Dublin Airport’s Maldron Hotel as part of this recruitment drive.
