The company behind the US-based Irish Central news site has bought six magazine titles from Norah Casey's publishing company Harmonia, including Irish Tatler and Food & Wine magazine.
The deal by Irish Studio, led by Irish-American media investor Liam Lynch, also includes the titles Irish Tatler Man, U Magazine, Auto Ireland and Ireland of the Welcomes.
Ciaran Casey, Harmonia's chief executive who is also Ms Casey's brother, will join Irish Studio as part of the deal, it said in a statement. Last year, the US company also purchased Irish Central from its founder, Niall O'Dowd.
Mr Lynch described the Harmonia deal as “a major acquisition that realises our strategy of rolling up established brands onto our digital platform”.
He added: "These six brands, including Irish Tatler, are trusted brands that people love. We will continue to loyally service our treasured print readers while also bringing these titles online to engage and entertain new audiences."
