Irish Rail services have delays of up to 25 minutes on Monday morning after the service was temporarily suspended through Lansdowne Road in South Dublin.
The company said the disruption to the Dart service is due to a vehicle hitting a level crossing.
A spokesman for Irish Rail said a van was driving through the crossing as the barrier was lowering, and the barrier got caught on a roof rack and stuck.
“We immediately sent a team to site to resolve this and enable the line to be cleared and services to resume, with delays of 25 minutes,” he said.

“We appeal to all users of level crossings not to attempt to drive through crossings when the warning lights are activated and when barriers are lowering.”
The company has apologised to customers for the disruption.
