The standard of wearables has really improved in the past couple of years. There was a time when people couldn’t see the point of a smartwatch and predicted their swift end but, if you look around you, you’ll see that did not come to pass. In fact, there seems to be more and more of the devices hitting the market, and they’re increasingly better than before.

Take the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro. The Chinese company’s latest wearable looks more like a classic watch than a piece of tech, with a rotatable crown, sapphire glass and a stainless steel case. The 1.47-inch Amoled display is bright and vivid, and the always on display has some excellent watch faces to choose from. It has all the usual health and fitness features you’d expect, along with built-in five-system GPS, more than 100 fitness modes and water resistance up to 5atm.
