Owen Heary (above) wants his Bohemians players to start the way they finished last Friday when they travel to Limerick tonight.
Bohemians came from 2-0 down to earn a point against bottom of the table Athlone Town at Dalymount Park with Dinny Corcoran, who'd earlier scored their equaliser, having a late penalty saved to deprive them of the win.
"They know more about us, just as we know more about them," said Heary in referencing last month's FAI Cup win against Limerick at Thomond Park.
“We hadn’t beaten Limerick since they came back to the Premier Division. It does give the lads confidence, knowing we can go down there and beat them on their own patch.
“We only really came alive in the last 40 minutes of the game,” added Heary of last week’s 2-2 draw. “We seemed to be in holiday mode before that.”
Limerick manager Stuart Taylor may have thought something similar as he hopes his players learnt from their 3-0 defeat to Cork City in the Munster derby at Turner's Cross last week. "We let ourselves down badly in Cork," said Taylor. "But we've got to learn from that, move on and make sure it doesn't happen again."
With his contract up, Scottish winger Danny Galbraith has left Limerick while midfielder Shane Tracy (foot) is their only injury doubt.
Fullback Derek Pender returns from injury for Bohemians, though skipper Dave Mulcahy remains out with a hamstring injury. Central defender Aidan Price faces a late fitness test on an ankle.
Bray Wanderers are awaiting clearance to allow new signings, former Republic of Ireland youth internationals Joe Gorman and Gareth McDonagh, come into their squad for the visit of Drogheda United to the Carlisle Grounds. Captain Dave Webster (ankle) remains out as Bray search for a first win in six games.
