First and second in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division may indeed meet in this year's FAI Cup final, after Monday morning's draw put them on different sides of the semi-final draw.

Dundalk will host Longford Town in one semi-final, one of manager Stephen Kenny's former teams, after they beat Sheriff in the last eight.

While Cork City still have to get past Derry City in their quarter-final on Monday night, but if they do they travel to the Carlisle Grounds to take on Bray Wanderers.

John Caulfield’s men fought back to earn a 1-1 draw and subsequent reply at the Brandywell Stadium last Friday night.
