again be watching his Shamrock Rovers team-mates from the sidelines.

On the face of it, both sides are playing catch-up with the champions, but Pat Fenlon doesn't see it that way. "I don't see us as chasing anybody," says the Rovers boss. "We made a good start to the season and we have to make sure that run continues."

Disappointing

After a disappointing couple of weeks, Cork will look to get back on track against Sligo, with City’s 1-1 draw at the Showgrounds on the opening weekend of the campaign looking less impressive now than it did then.

"From the outset, 22 points is a fair return," says John Caulfield of his side's haul from the first 11 games.

With Maciej Tarnogrodski having resigned but Wanderers so far unable to confirm a new manager, David Cassidy looks set to pick this evening's Bray team in Drogheda.

In the night's other games, Anto Murphy will be absent from the Bohemians side against Limerick, who give late tests to Shane Duggan and Paul O'Conor, while Derry are missing Pat McEleney, Stephen Dooley and Seamus Sharkey. Galway travel to the Brandywell minus nine players including Marc Ludden, Kilian Cantwell and Sam Oji.
