Stephen Kenny has announced his 25-man Republic of Ireland squad for next month’s World Cup qualifiers against Portugal, Azerbaijan and Serbia.

Callum Robinson is a high-profile absence while he isolates after testing positive for Covid-19, with Burnley's Nathan Collins earning a first call-up. Robinson could potentially return for the clash with Serbia.

Brighton's Aaron Connolly and Jeff Hendrick both return to the squad after missing the summer internationals. The squad are set to fly to Portugal on Sunday.

Ireland play Portugal on at Estádio Algarve on Wednesday September 1st. They meet Azerbaijan in Dublin on Saturday September 4th, with Serbia welcomed to the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday September 7th.
