Andrew Omobamidele is out of Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Portugal on Thursday night after failing to recover from injury in time to start. He is replaced by Séamus Coleman who will line up in a back three alongside Shane Duffy and John Egan.
Matt Doherty looks set to start at right wing-back with Enda Stevens on the opposite side. Josh Cullen and Jeff Hendrick will man the midfield while Jamie McGrath and Chiedozie Ogbene start just behind striker Callum Robinson.
A full stadium is expected at Lansdowne Road for Ireland’s second last qualifier as Stephen Kenny looks to build on last month’s wins over Azerbaijan and Qatar.
For Portugal, Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias, Diogo Jota - all one yellow card away from missing Sunday's last match against Serbia - are left out of the starting lineup while Cristiano Ronaldo starts.
