Jurgen Klopp dropped goalkeeper Loris Karius for Liverpool's Premier League clash with Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

Klopp made the move after Karius made mistakes in recent games against Bournemouth and West Ham, despite publicly defending the 23-year-old from criticism.

Simon Mignolet, who lost his place to Karius earlier this season, was recalled to the starting line-up with Karius dropping to the bench.
