Connacht have confirmed secondrow Aly Muldowney will join French side Grenoble at the end of the season.
Muldowney is one of seven players set to be released by the province at the end of the season, with AJ McGinty, George Naoupu and Fionn Carr also leaving.
However the 32-year-old lock has been snapped up by Bernard Jackman’s Top-14 side, who edged out Connacht in a thriller in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

Connacht signed Muldowney from Exeter Chiefs in 2013, and he made his debut against Zebre in September of that year.
Muldowney has signed a two-year deal with Grenoble, he said: “I am happy to have signed for Grenoble. My family and I look forward to arriving.
"This is a beautiful city and a fantastic rugby club! I spoke with Bernard Jackman several times and he has a great vision for the club, which is very exciting and I'm looking forward to, hopefully, playing a role.
“It’s also a great opportunity for me to play the Top 14, that one of the best and most challenging competitions in the world.”
