Flanker Alex Kendellen has signed a two-year contract extension to stay put at Munster until at least 2027.
The 23-year-old made his debut for Munster as a first-year academy player in 2021 against Scarlets, a season which also saw him captain the Ireland U20s in the Six Nations.
He has since made 79 appearances for Munster, scoring five tries for the province.
He also captained the Emerging Ireland squad for their tour of South Africa last year and was included as a training panellist in Andy Farrell’s Ireland squad for the Autumn internationals.
Munster also confirmed Ruadhán Quinn and Evan O’Connell will move up to the senior squad from the academy.
The pair will move on to development contracts next year before progressing to senior contracts for 2026/27.
