Garry Ringrose and Jimmy O’Brien have recovered from injuries and are available for selection ahead Leinster’s Champions Cup semi-final clash with Northampton Saints, the province has announced.

However, fullback Hugo Keenan remains an injury doubt, while James Ryan will also miss out as he continues to recover from surgery on an arm injury.

Ringrose has not featured since a bench appearance in Ireland’s final Six Nations clash against Scotland. A shoulder injury has kept him sidelined for the province’s Champions Cup clashes with Leicester and La Rochelle.

O’Brien has been a longer term absentee as a neck injury has kept him sidelined since January.

Keenan last featured in the round of 16 victory over the Leicester Tigers on April 6th. A hip injury means he remains a doubt ahead of Saturday’s clash.

Leinster rested the majority of their expected starting XV for the European clash during a pair recent URC matches in South Africa. On the the two-week mini-tour, a largely second string squad was beaten both by the Lions and the Stormers.
