Willie Mullins’s Royal Ascot winner Pique Sous has been installed a 4 to 1 favourite for next week’s Guinness Galway Hurdle.

Last month’s Ascot Stakes winner hasn’t run over hurdles since last year’s Galway Hurdle when he was pulled up. The grey has since risen through the flat ranks to a current rating of 105 and is in consideration for at York.

Paul Townend has two rides at Ballinrobe this evening and looks a significant booking for Silverpockets in the mares hurdle. Robert Murphy's runner ran twice over flights last year and had a good run on the flat behind Saint Gervais recently.
