New Tipperary hurling manager Colm Bonnar has announced his management team with the appointment of three selectors, Tommy Dunne, Johnny Enright and Paul Curran.

Dunne was involved as a coach with the outgoing Liam Sheedy management, which delivered an All-Ireland in 2019 and has also coached minor and Under-21 All-Ireland winning teams for the county. He captained Tipp to the 2001 Liam MacCarthy victory.

Enright is highly regarded as a coach. He worked with Meath’s hurlers and also with Nicky English’s UCD team in the Fitzgibbon Cup, which as a player he won three times with UCC. He played for Tipperary for a number of seasons from the mid-1990s.

Curran, another All-Ireland winner, is still playing with his club, Mullinahone and worked as a coach with fellow county man Darren Gleeson and the Antrim hurlers this year, helping them retain a place in Division 1 of the hurling league.
