Cork 5-26
Kerry 0-9
Cork strolled into the Munster minor hurling championship semi-finals with a facile victory over Kerry at Páirc Uí Rinn on Wednesday night.
Cork were 0-9 to 0-3 in front after the opening quarter, with Luke Meade, Seán Hayes and Eoghan Keniry impressing and went in at the break leading by 1-14 to 0-3.
Keniry began a sequence of 1-8 without response with a fine point and Hayes finally grabbed a goal, which had been threatening, when he flicked Meaney’s long-range delivery to the net after 22 minutes.
The second half was one-way traffic again with Meade claiming a couple of goals, Keniry another and substitute Billy Dunne also getting in on the act.
