Monaghan’s reward for their win over Down on Saturday night is an All Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-final clash with Dublin at Croke Park.
The other tie sees Ulster champions Tyrone face Armagh at 4pm, with the second game taking place directly afterwards at 6pm.
Meanwhile, Mayo will face Roscommon in their quarter-final replay at Croke Park two days later on Monday, August 7th.
With Dublin heavy favourites to end Monaghan’s championship run, it looks like the expected semi-final clash of the Dubs and Tyrone will come about.
First, though, Tyrone will have to get past Ulster rivals Armagh after Kieran McGeeney’s side disposed of Kildare on Saturday night.
