Eoin Bradley is set to balance his soccer commitments at Northern Irish League side Glenavon with his inter-county career for Derry in 2015.

The vastly talented attacker last year joined Coleraine FC where he impressed enough to earn himself a transfer to Glenavon for the current season.

So far this term and he’s scored six goals, placing in the top ten goalscorers in the league as his club sit in fifth place.

Last year the 31-year-old was unable to come to an agreement with Derry manager Brian McIver over a possible compromise between the games. It seems though that the pair have finally got there, and so Bradley now looks set to juggle the demands of the modern intercounty game with his semi-professional soccer schedule.

Having made his Derry senior debut ten years ago, Bradley will add some experience and no shortage of flair or speed, to a Derry side who underwhelmed last summer.

Brian McIver this morning confirmed the decision to include Bradley as part of the Derry squad for the 2015 season.

"Eoin is currently in full training with Derry and will be available for selection from the start of the Allianz National League. "

Last weekend he scored a crucial goal in Glenavon's 3-2 win over Portadown, following that up with an appearance for an Ulster GAA selection in the 'Game for Anto' against Dublin. Appearing as a substitute he typically found his way on to the score sheet.

According to local reports he had been in fine form for his club Glenullin during this year’s county championship and hopes will be high in the county that all parties can make the dual commitment a success for the year ahead.
