The chaotic, madcap finish to the early game at Celtic Park will take some topping all season - two late goals snatching victory for Jack O’Connor’s Kerry against Derry. And then we had Shane Walsh’s kicking masterclass as Galway demonstrated the benefit of kicking two-pointers to chalk up a comfortable win over Mayo. In between it all, the Carlow hurlers pulled off the shock of the day with a win over Waterford.

David Mohan has put together a wrap of Division 1B in the Allianz Hurling League - which includes details on that standout Carlow victory over Waterford.
The last of Sunday’s Allianz League games has just finished, with the Offaly footballers getting the better of neighbours Laois in Division Three, 2-19 to 1-17.
There were two significant games in Division One of the women’s Lidl National Football League today as well.
Kildare caused a shock beating Dublin 1-8 to 0-8 while reigning league champions Armagh were too strong for Tyrone, 0-16 to 0-5. Here is a round-up of all today’s league action in the women’s game.

Holders Armagh made it two wins from two in Division One of the Lidl National Football League on Sunday.
The Orchard County followed up their opening day victory over TG4 All-Ireland senior champions Kerry by getting the better of Ulster rivals Tyrone with a strong second-half performance in Lurgan to win by 0-16 to 0-5.
Tyrone started well and opened up a lead of 0-4 to 0-1 after 17 minutes but Armagh finished the half strongly and the sides were deadlocked at 0-5 apiece at the break.
Armagh then took control and dominated the game after the restart, holding Tyrone scoreless for the duration of the second-half while landing 0-11 themselves in a strong performance.
Meanwhile, there was another provincial derby on Sunday, where Leinster pair Kildare and Dublin met at Manguard Park.
And it was Kildare who secured the spoils on a 1-8 to 0-8 scoreline to get their first win of the campaign after going down to Waterford in the opening round.
The key score of the game came after ten minutes when Kildare’s Alannah Prizeman got the only goal of the match which helped them lead by 1-5 to 0-7 at the interval.
Dublin, hoping to build on their opening win over Mayo, battled back after the restart but Kildare were not to be denied.
In Division Two, promotion favourites Galway and Cork went head to head in Tuam, and it was Galway who came out on top by 2-8 to 0-12 in the battle between two sides who were relegated from the top flight last year. Leanne Coen and Róisín Leonard got the goals for Galway, while Katie Quirke landed 0-9 for Cork.
Elsewhere in the second tier on Sunday, there were victories for Roscommon and Monaghan, while Westmeath and Donegal drew.
Two goals from Aishling Hanly and one from Laura Mannion helped Roscommon on their way to a 3-13 to 0-8 win over Clare. A late Emma Morrissey goal was not enough to save Tipperary as Éabha Sherry hit the winning point for Monaghan in their 0-10 to 1-6 win.
Donegal led Westmeath by 0-4 to 0-1 at the interval but a goal from Anna Jones got Westmeath back in contention in a game which finished 1-6 to 0-9.
In Division Three, Cavan, Carlow, Louth and Wexford notched up wins, while Sligo, Leitrim and Antrim were triumphant in Division Four, as Wicklow got the better of Kilkenny on Saturday.

A goal from Darragh McCarthy has pushed Tipp clear and it seems the home side will hold out for their second victory of the campaign. With just over five minutes remaining, Tipperary lead Wexford 1-19 to 0-14.
Tipp and Wexford are keeping each other honest in Thurles. With 53 minutes gone, Tipperary lead 0-16 to 0-12 in their Division 1A clash. The Premier County led 0-12 to 0-8 at half-time.
But it looks like the result of the day was achieved by the Carlow hurlers who beat Waterford. What a victory for the Barrowsiders.
The Allianz Hurling League clash between Tipperary and Wexford is ongoing, the Division 1A fixture had late throw-in. With 45 minutes gone, Tipp lead 0-14 to 0-11.

Seconds later, the chaos ended.’

One of the stories emerging from last night was the news Michael Fitzsimons is unlikely to return for Dublin this year. While not entirely unexpected, it is yet another link in the Dublin chain falling off.

Good morning and welcome to our live blog of today’s Allianz League action. We have an early start today because of the 12.30 throw-in for Derry v Kerry at Celtic Park.
It’s Gordon Manning here, I’ll be with you all afternoon keeping you updated on the latest scores, stories and any other GAA developments from across the country.
