Sir, – If pension companies want to know why people born in the 1980s and 1990s are not saving towards a pension, would it not be better to look at the cost of rent, the cost of a house, the difficulty of saving for deposit and the cost of living, and then ask how much is left for a pension? It sounds as if we are being studied by entities that regard us as being as mysterious as gorillas in the wild. That disconnect is probably part of their sales problem. – Yours, etc,
MARY POWER,
Dublin 1.
