Sir, – Can someone enlighten me as to why contemporary architecture appears to be obsessed with grey? New residential developments typically sport grey window-frames and doors, while interiors are a paean to the 50 shades. I note that business facades are now following suit, and all this in a country that is enveloped in grey cloud for much of the year. I would scratch my head but it might displace what remains of my grey hair. – Yours, etc,
