Sir, – Gerry Thornley (“Twenty-minute red card undermines World Rugby’s campaign to make the game safer”, October 22nd) suggests the 20-minute Red card is not a good look for Rugby. I agree, I think the word forgiveness and red card don’t sit well together.
He also thinks it should be called a 20-minute yellow card. May I suggest going in between and calling it a 20-minute Amber card? – Yours, etc,
