Scottish police have released a statement saying remains have been found at a farm in the area of Milngavie as the search for missing Cork woman enters its fifth day.
The first year occupational therapy student at Glasgow Caledonian University is originally from Glynn, Mourneabbey near Mallow. She was last seen in the early hours of Sunday morning.

2.30pm Police arrive at farm. Farm is sealed off as search is carried out at site.
9pm Unconfirmed reports begin to emerge that a body has been found at a farm at High Craighton near Milngavie about 12 kilometres north of Glasgow.
Tuesday
Dawsholm Park, near Dorchester Avenue, becomes the centre of the search for the 24-year-old student after Ms Buckley’s handbag was found on Tuesday afternoon.
The parents of the missing Cork student appeal for anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.
“She is our only daughter and we love her dearly - we just want Karen home safely - we are desparate and if anyone has information, please come forward,” says Karen’s mother, Marian, at a press conference in Glasgow.
Police issue appeal for information about a grey car seen on country roads between Milngavie and Drymen between 1100 and 1500 hours on Monday.
“Did you see the car maybe parked in lay-by or on the road? Did you notice anything suspicious activity surrounding it?”
Glasgow police state their concern for Karen’s safety: “Although this is very much a missing person enquiry – we are gravely concerned for Karen’s safety. She has now been missing for more than 60 hours and she has not been seen or heard from since she left the Sanctuary Club in Partick, around 0100 hours on Sunday morning.
Monday
Police trace the man Karen was seen with on CCTV walking along Dumbarton Road after she left the club.
"We have traced him and he is assisting us with our enquiries. I must stress that at this time he is not a suspect" - Detective Superintendent Jim Kerr.
Police said they were also keen to find out more about a grey car that was seen on the roads between Milngavie and Drymen north of Glasgow on Monday morning.
Karen’s parents travel from Co Cork to Glasgow to meet officers leading the search for their daughter.
Sunday
Karen is reported missing.
“Friends reported Karen missing on Sunday April 12th after feeling her behaviour to not return home was very out of character. Her friends say she would always contact them by text or phone to let them know where she was and she doesn’t appear to have contacted anyone” - Inspector Gavin Smith
Police issue description. She is described as white, around 152cm to 157.5cm (5ft to 5ft 2in) with dark hair and brown eyes and had long black curly hair with extensions.
1-4am Karen spends time at a flat on Dorchester Avenue.
1am Karen is last seen leaving the Sanctuary Club. She was wearing an all in one black jump suit with red high heels and was carrying a black handbag. Karen is recorded on CCTV footage talking to a man outside the nightclub and then walking with the man along Dumbarton Road away from the city centre and her flat.
Saturday
11.45pm Karen and friends arrive at Sanctuary nightclub at Dumbarton Road
The club, near the landmark Kelvingrove museum and the Western Infirmary hospital, is often frequented by a youthful crowd, with footballers among the clientele.
The nightclub was celebrating its second birthday at the weekend and was much busier than usual on Saturday night.
