A workman was injured this morning after a construction crane collapsed in west Belfast this morning.
A incident happened on a building site on the Stewartstown Road. The crane was unloading materials just before 9 a.m. when it toppled over.
The crane fell onto apartments being built on the site, trapping the injured man. He is being treated at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
Sinn Féin councillor Mr Paul Butler, who was driving past the site at the time of the collapse, said: "It was a miracle no one was killed during this incident." He also wished the workman a swift recovery.
