Public pressure over water charges is gathering pace with protests due to take place in over 70 locations across the country tomorrow.

Organisers expected a turnout of over 100,000 people and there are 27 locations in Dublin alone.

Numbers in the capital are due to exceed those at the October water protest.

The Right2Water group which is organising the event said the "extent and diversity" of the events being planned around the country "reflects the level of public anger surrounding water charges".
