Fianna Fáil TD Seán Fleming is to replace his party colleague John McGuinness as chair of the Dáil's Public Accounts Committee.
Mr Fleming was informed of the decision by Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin on Tuesday.
Mr McGuinness will instead chair the Oireachtas committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform.
Fianna Fáil is to chair six committees while Fine Gael has seven. Sinn Féin will chair the justice, Belfast Agreement and regional development committees.
Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin will chair the Justice and Equality Committee; Peadar Tóibín TD, will chair the regional development committee, and Kathleen Funchion will Belfast Agreement committee.
Labour will chair the committee on public service oversight and petitions.
The rural alliance, which is made up of Michael Harty, Michael Collins, Mattie McGrath, Noel Grealish and the Healy-Rae brothers, will chair the European affairs committee.
The Independents for Change group will chair the Irish language committee.
