A spokesman for the Taoiseach said: “The report has been received in the department.

“The Taoiseach is obliged under section 38 of the Commissions of Investigation Act to consult with the sole member and to have the report reviewed by the Attorney General’s office to determine if there is any impact on pending or ongoing criminal proceedings.

“The position remains as the Taoiseach has always said that the report will be published as soon as possible in accordance with the law.”
