Motorcyclist dies following Waterford crash

A 28-year-old man died this afternoon following a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Co Waterford.

A 28-year-old man died this afternoon following a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Co Waterford.

The deceased man was the driver of the motorcycle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash which took place at Kilmurrin, Bonmahon in Co Waterford at 12.10 p.m.

The man's 32-year-old female pillion passenger suffered serious injuries, although they are not thought to be life threatening.

She is being treated at Ardkeen Regional Hospital.

There were no reported injuries to the occupants of the car.
