Met Éireann has issued a yellow wind warning for four counties from Sunday afternoon with mild and unsettled conditions expected over the weekend.
The forecaster put out the alert for counties Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Kerry on Friday afternoon. The warning will be valid from 3pm on Sunday until 11pm.
Met Éireann said severe gusts would be possible which could lead to some fallen trees.
The warning comes as the country continues to deal with the fallout of Storm Barra. On Friday morning, the ESB said it was making good progress on restoring electricity to customers after the storm caused widespread power cuts this week.

All customers without power should have it restored today, according to Paul Hand, senior press officer with ESB.
He said that good progress on restoring power was made overnight and on Friday morning. “We’re now into isolated pockets of customers without power, cumulatively in the hundreds.
“Crews continue to be fully mobilised and we’ll get the last remaining customers back today.”
Mr Hand said that Kerry was the most impacted by power outages, with 10,000 homes without power at one stage.
Now, there were just isolated pockets of power outages across the county, according to Mr Hand.
A smaller number of customers in Wicklow and Limerick were also without electricity.
Aoife Kealy, meteorologist with Met Éireann, said there would be a few showers with sunny spells on Friday but that overall it would be a fresh day. “It will be brighter in the east, and tonight a warm front will move across the country.
“This will make it cloudier, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing on Saturday morning. Tomorrow will be a dull cloudy day overall.”
There may be heavier bursts of rain in the northern half of the country, Ms Kealy added, with tomorrow evening drier and clearer in Connacht and Ulster, and the rain becoming confined to the south and southeast.
Temperatures will also rise over the weekend. On Friday, temperatures will be between five and eight degrees, but they will reach 10 to 13 degrees tomorrow.
Sunday will be another cloudy day, with outbreaks of rain expected, according to Ms Kealy.
“It will also be windy in the north and northwest, because of a depression coming in, but it will still be mild, with temperatures reaching 11-13 degrees.”
The weather will also be unsettled for the first half of next week.
