A man arrested following the discovery of €129,700 worth of cocaine, cannabis and cash at a house in Co Cork on Friday has been charged.
Gardaí with the Gurranabraher Drugs Unit, Serious Crime Unit and the Garda Dog Unit carried out a search in the Knocknaheeney area pursuant to Section 26 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977/84.
The search uncovered €111,700 of cocaine and €18,000 of cannabis resin (pending analysis) alongside €1,200 in cash, which was also seized.
A man aged in his 60s was arrested at the scene and taken to Gurranabraher Garda Station where he was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996.

The man has since been charged and is scheduled to appear before Cork District Court on Monday morning, gardaí said.
