Hozier and the Kaiser Chiefs will support the Foo Fighters at Slane this summer.

Tickets for this year’s Slane gig go on sale on Monday and are priced at €79.50 each, promoters MCD have announced.

The presence of Hozier on the bill should boost ticket sales as he is the hottest Irish act around at present.

His debut album went straight to number one in the Irish charts in September. It is still at number four in the album charts nine weeks later.
