Galway Bay FM radio chief executive Keith Finnegan has been invited to represent Ireland at this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade in St Louis, Missouri, the US.

Galway Bay FM radio chief executive Keith Finnegan has been invited to represent Ireland at this year's St Patrick's Day parade in St Louis, Missouri, the US.

Mr Finnegan said he was very honoured to have been asked to be guest of honour at this year’s event on March 12th.

Previous Irish representatives at the St Louis Parade have included former taoiseach Bertie Ahern, former EU commissioner Máire Geoghegan-Quinn and President Michael D Higgins, during his term as mayor of Galway in 1973.
