Detectives investigating the murder of journalist Lyra McKee in Derry in 2019 have searched the offices of a French production company.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said it believes a camera crew from the production company was in Derry throughout the week of Ms McKee's murder.
The search of their Paris offices was carried out on Tuesday morning led by two French judges and with the assistance of French police, the PSNI said.
“A European Investigation Order was carefully considered, sought and granted by Belfast Crown Court and the search was later approved and supported by senior members of the French judiciary.
“A number of items have been recovered for further examination,” the PSNI said.
Ms McKee (29) was shot dead in Derry in April 2019 as she observed a riot in the Creggan area of the city.
The dissident republican group the New IRA previously said it was responsible.
Three men have already been charged with her murder and another five with rioting and associated offences.
