A four-year-old girl missing from Derry has been found “safe and well”, police have said.

A public appeal was launched in the search for Scarlet Duddy, who went missing on Monday after being last seen leaving a play centre in Springtown Industrial Estate.

The PSNI said they believed she had left the play centre with a female relative and that they were possibly in County Donegal.

On Tuesday afternoon, it was announced the girl had been located.
